Help IC student Kyle Arnold's film win in the IES Study Abroad Film Festival!Contributed by Rachel Gould on 10/12/17
The Festival asked IES Abroad students to capture the spirit of study abroad—both what it means to them, and how it redefined their world. IES Abroad received a record number of films totaling 93 submissions. Out of 93 films, 12 moved on to become semi-finalists, which were ranked by IES Abroad's international jury based on key criteria including the ability to tell a compelling story that captures the spirit of study abroad, production quality, entertainment value, and originality. IES Abroad will be hosting their first-ever Film Festival on November 1st in Chicago at the Museum of Contemporary Art. The grand prize winner will be announced in front of a live audience, the students’ films will be screened, and a Q&A session will take place along with the other two finalists. The three student finalists, including Kyle, have been invited to attend the Film Festival in Chicago. |
