Math Majors Present Research at MAA Seaway Section Meeting

On Saturday, October 21, five mathematics majors presented their research at the Mathematical Association of America Seaway Section Meeting held at SUNY Broome.  

The presenters and their titles:

  • Marguerite Davis '18, Computer Modeling of a Tritrophic System
  • Brittany Dyer '18, War-Gaming Applications for Achieving Optimum Acquisition of Future Space Systems
  • Nathan Jue '18, Generalizing the Golden Ratio
  • Britney Mazzetta '18, Predicting U.S. Childhood Obesity through Mathematical Modeling
  • Melissa McGahan '18, Elucidating Patterns within a Triangular Array
