Jess Shapiro, Honors Academic Assistant and Residence Director for Eastman and Lyon Halls has been selected as a co- presenter during the 52nd annual conference to be held by the National Collegiate Honors Council in Atlanta, Georgia.

 Jess Shapiro and Katherine Hellmann (University of Texas at Tyler) have been selected to co-present their session entitled, “A Look at Diversity Education in Honors” on November 10, 2017. Their research will highlight how educating honors students on diversity and social justice issues can be fraught with lack of time, understanding, and uncertainty. Find out how Ithaca College and the University of Texas at Tyler created and implemented a developmental diversity curriculum.  Presenters will share assessment data and educational materials.
