This year's December graduation reception will be held on Saturday, December 9 from 2:00 - 3:30 pm in Emerson Suites.

This reception celebrates the accomplishments of our December graduates over a brief program and a dessert reception. The event does not replace the formal graduation ceremony in May, and all December graduates are encouraged to return in May for the larger ceremony.  Students and their families attending the December 9th reception are encouraged to RSVP here.

An email invitation will be sent to students graduating in December later this week, and a postcard invitation will be sent to parents.

Earlier this semester, an incorrect date for this reception was posted to the Commencement website. We erroneously stated the event would take place December 16. We corrected the mistake as soon as we became aware of it, and we apologize for the confusion or inconvenience it may have caused. We have learned recently that the December 9 date is not convenient for some of our students and their families, most notably those in our Los Angeles program this semester. The Park School will be holding a separate reception on Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm in the Park School of Communications specifically for students returning from the LA program.  We encourage students and their families to RSVP to this ceremony here.

Again, we apologize for the inaccurate date that was posted on the website earlier this semester, and we hope that students and their families will be able to join us for one of these celebrations.

Commencement co-chairs David Prunty (607-274-3313) or Doreen Hettich-Atkins (607-274-3374) can be contacted with questions.
