Kathleen Mulligan (Theatre Arts) Works on World Premier Musical With IC Alum Maggie-Kate Coleman

Kathleen Mulligan, Associate Professor of Voice and Speech, served as the dialect and vocal coach on the world premiere of  the new musical The Gift of The Magi at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre in Little Rock. The adaptation, based on the story by O. Henry, features lyrics by Ithaca College alum Maggie-Kate Coleman (’03), music by Andrew Cooke, and book by Jeffrey Hatcher. It was directed by Arkansas Repertory Theatre Artistic Director John Miller-Stephany. The musical opened on Thursday, November 30 and will run through December 24.
