Katherine Helly, a senior Athletic Training major in the Department of Exercise & Sport Sciences (Florence, MA) was just notified by the Eastern Athletic Trainers' Association that she is the recipient of the 2018 District II Kent Scriber Scholarship.

Named after IC Professor Emeriti, Kent Scriber, EdD, ATC, PT, the award recognizes an outstanding junior or senior athletic training major from all accredited athletic training programs in NY, NJ, PA, and DE. The award of $3,000 and a plaque will be presented to Katy at the 2018 EATA Awards Banquet in Boston, MA during the Annual Meeting on January, 6th is highly competitive and recognizes Katy's outstanding scholarship, professional development and academic accomplishments to date.
