David Turkon (Anthropology) appointed to three year term on the national screening committee for Fulbright-Hays graduate student applications to Southern Africa.Contributed by Michael Malpass on 12/11/17 David was selected to serve by the Institute for International Education (IIE) for a period of three years (not necessarily consecutive), beginning with this year’s competition. The process involves reading and rating applications, and then meeting with two fellow committee members to recommend a limited number of candidates for further consideration by host countries. David's committee met for the first time on December 8, 2017, in the IIE headquarters at the U.N. Plaza in New York. |
