Online Submission Open for James J. Whalen Academic Symposium – A Symposium of Research, Scholarship, and Creative WorkContributed by Stephanie St. John on 01/25/18 The online submission process to submit student presentations for the 21st Annual James J. Whalen Symposium will close on March 5, 2018. Students: Interested in participating? · Develop your presentation skills. · Include your presentation on your resume and graduate application. · Win a gift certificate to the Ithaca College Bookstore if yours is an award-winning presentation. Submit the Submit the Online Submission Form OR Contact your faculty collaborator to have them fill out the Online Submission Form. Faculty Fill out the Online Submission Form. Submit your student's presentation, performance, creative display, or poster presentation. Once the form(s) is/are submitted, you and your student(s) will receive an e-mail detailing next steps. Central to the success of the Whalen Symposium, we need the contributions of experienced faculty who can bring their expertise to the process. Interested in volunteering as an Abstract Reviewer? Faculty will electronically review 3-6 abstracts (500-750 words per abstract) during spring break to determine finalist presentations which will be highlighted at the Symposium. Award winners will be selected from the pool of finalists at the Symposium.
