 Socialize and learn like never before in a fun and casual enviroment!

  You are cordially invited to join IC alumni, family, and friends in grabbing a drink and experiencing learning like never before at our new faculty speaker series, “Brains in a Bar.” This series mixes socializing and learning in a fun and casual environment, with each event hosting a discussion in a particular discipline lead by faculty experts.

Our first event will feature IC assistant professor of journalism Anthony Adornato. Anthony is a 10-year veteran of the world of broadcast journalism. He has worked in many different markets including WSTM-TV, the NBC affiliate in Syracuse, NY, and recently published a book, Mobile & Social Media Journalism. Anthony’s research focuses on journalists’ and news organizations’ use of mobile and social media to gather news, distribute content, and create audience engagement.
