 Those students familiar with the Department of Writing at IC are welcome to apply to work as combination TA/RAs for this year's Ithaca Writers Institute (IWI), a two-week residential program for high school-aged creative writers. 

Do you love writing and want to help teens from across the country celebrate that same love, giving them the kind of writing community that they've never had before? You might make a great TA/RA. 

TA/RAs both work closely with a professor in a genre course (Fiction, Poetry, Personal Essay, or Science Fiction/Fantasy) and live with/support students in the dorm. They have the opportunity to develop and teach a one-day workshop as well as to give a reading and participate in other events with local authors. 

The 2018 IWI will run from July 1st through July 13th; the deadline to apply is February 28th.
