This event is hosted by the Center for First-generation Student Success, an initiative of NASPA and The Suder Foundation. This livestream will be available from 9:00 am – 4:30pm in the Six Mile Creek Room. You can come and spend the day or come and go as you’re able. On January 30th, the Center for First-generation Student Success will gather higher education institution and industry leaders in in Arlington, VA for a discussion of the priorities and opportunities available for advancing institutional ability to advance first-generation student outcomes. This live stream is intended to be a virtual means of participation for leaders, practitioners, and scholars invested in first-generation work. Because the day is highly interactive, the chat feature of the live stream will serve as a moderated small group for discussions and ideas. We will also take questions from live stream participants during the plenary panel. You may also follow the Center @FirstgenCenter and use the #FirstgenForward to follow live conversations about the day. The proposed schedule for the day is noted below.
