As part of Ithaca’s Diversity & Inclusion Discussion Circle, Ashley and Patrick Bohn will host a discussion about disability inclusion on the Ithaca College campus this Wednesday, February 7 in Klingenstein Lounge at noon.

Patrick, who works in the office of college relations and communications, has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair. His wife, Ashley is the operations & external relations officer for the school of Humanities and Sciences. They’re both passionate advocates for individuals with disabilities.

The focus of their discussion will be on the progress Ithaca College has made in providing access and opportunity for individuals with disabilities on campus, as well as the improvements that still need to be made to create an inclusive community. They will also discuss their personal experiences and challenges navigating campus. There will be time for discussion and questions from the audience as well, and feedback is encouraged from audience members. All are welcome.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Tammy Sritecha at tsritecha@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-1501. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.

(Please email a request to tsritecha@ithaca.edu if you would like to join the D&I Discussion Circle Sakai site.)
