The Athletic Training Education Program in the Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences (HSHP) is proud to continue with year 4 of our unique and exciting educational exchange program with the Institute of Technology, Carlow, Ireland (ITC). Ithaca's accredited AT program formed a dynamic educational and clinical exchange program with ITC's Athletic Rehabilitation Therapy program that sends 2 senior Bomber AT majors to Carlow every fall, and receives 2 4th year Carlow ARTI students each spring. Both programs provide their visiting students with sports medicine related classroom education and clinical experiences with their institutional athletic programs--the only such exchange in the country as of this moment.

This spring, Ithaca College is excited and proud to host Claire Healy, from Graigueswood, Co. Kilkenny and Denise Deering, from Ballywilliam, Co. Wexford, both 4th year ARTI majors from ITC.

Both girls will be very active in the Hill Center AT Clinic, Claire will work with our Men's lacrosse team under the tutelage of Mike Matheny, MS, ATC, and Denise will work with our Bombers Baseball team under the tutelage of Todd Lazenby, MA, ATC in order to complete their workplace experiences and education, before leaving for home at the end of April.
