Spring Semester is an important time to prepare for and select your on campus housing for the 2018-19 Academic Year! Please review the following housing selection dates and process information. Students will also receive a more detailed email later today. Have any questions? Stop by the Residential Life Office in the East Tower Lobby, call us at 607-274-3141, or email us! New Housing Software – Residential Life is launching new software to facilitate the online housing selection process. Students will continue to login to HomerConnect to view and select housing through a new Housing Portal. The new portal will be live beginning February 6th, 2018. View the Residential Life Housing welcome page and try out housing selection in a new “Practice” page. Interested in living in a Residential Learning Community (RLC)? Complete a short application on HomerConnect by selecting the Housing Portal. RLC applications are available beginning March 1, 2018, and are due Friday, March 30, 2018. Interested in living off-campus? Rising juniors may apply through the Residential Life website. Please note - the off campus target has been met and there is a waitlist. Rising seniors are exempt and do not need to apply. Housing Selection Dates 2018 Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018: Circle Apartment Retention (Squatting your current apartment), starting at 9 AM Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018: 3 & 4 Person Circle Apartment Selection for rising juniors and seniors, starting at 7 AM (see the selection key listed below) Thursday, March 1, 2018: 5-Person Circle Selection for rising juniors and seniors, starting at 7 AM March 1-30, 2018: Residential Learning Community applications available for rising sophomores, juniors and seniors in the Housing Portal via HomerConnect. Tuesday, March 6, 2018: 6-Person Circle Selection for rising juniors and seniors, starting at 7 AM Thursday, March 8, 2018: Individual requests to live in the Circle Apartments are due by email to housing@ithaca.edu before 5 PM Tuesday, March 20, 2018: Garden Apartment Retention (Squatting your current apartment), beginning at 9 AM. Email notifications sent for individual students approved to live in the Circle Apartments. Thursday, March 22, 2018: 6-Person Garden Selection for rising juniors and seniors, starting at 7 AM Tuesday, March 27, 2018: 4-Person Garden Selection for rising juniors and seniors, starting at 7 AM Thursday, March 29, 2018: 2-Person Garden Selection for rising juniors and seniors, starting at 7 AM. Individual requests to live in the Garden Apartments are due by email to housing@ithaca.edu before 5 PM Friday, March 30, 2018: Single Room Retention (Squatting your current room) in traditional halls. RLC Applications due. Tuesday, April 3, 2018: Email notifications sent for individual students approved to live in the Garden Apartments Thursday, April 5, 2018: Residential Learning Community Selection 9 AM – 8:59 PM Friday, April 6, 2018: Single Selection in Terraces for rising juniors and seniors starting at 7 AM Monday, April 9, 2018: Block Housing forms available. Summer Waitlist and Vacancy forms available.
