Seven Sport Psychology students from the Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences will present their research at the Eastern Canada Sport and Exercise Psychology Conference, an International Regional conference of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology in Montreal, QC, Canada in March 2018

Undergraduate student Margaret Nieto and graduate students Zac McCarver, Shelby Anderson, Mario DiPreta, Sayre Wilson, Shannon Stone, and Justin Worley were accepted to present their research at the conference. All projects were mentored by Dr. Sebastian Harenberg and Dr. Justine Vosloo. This will be the largest cohort of Sport and Exercise Psychology students speaking at a conference in the program’s history. Here is a list of all projects:

"Differences in Perfectionism between Excelling Student Athletes and Their Teammates” by Zachary McCarver, Justine Vosloo, & Sebastian Harenberg
"Validity of the Fitbit Charge HR2 in Outdoor Walking and Running” by Mario DiPreta, Mina Shernan, & Sebastian Harenberg
