Their presentation will consist of a brief introduction and review of the history of environmental racism in the United States and subsequent federal policy outcomes. It will then explore how social justice fits into the sustainability framework through interconnections between human needs and natural and financial resources. This presentation seeks to better define the “people” dimension of the Triple Bottom Line and to more intimately include social justice in the sustainability dialogue. There will be time for discussion and questions from the audience as well. All are welcome. Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Tammy Sritecha at tsritecha@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-1501. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
