Announcing a change in Fall Welcome and Move-In Day

President Collado has approved a change in Move-In Day from Sunday, August 26, 2018, to Saturday, August 25, 2018.

This change is an opportunity to create additional Fall Welcome programming to support our first-year students’ transition to Ithaca College. More information will be forthcoming. Please note that no changes are being made to the summer orientation program at this time.  

Important Dates:

  • Move-In Day: Saturday, August 25, 2018 (first-year and transfer students only)
  • Fall Welcome: Saturday, August 25, 2018 through Tuesday, August 28, 2018
  • Classes Begin: Wednesday, August 29, 2018

Please be sure to update any electronic or print communications that feature the date of Move-In Day and/or the dates of Fall Welcome.

As Move-In Day now falls on the Jewish sabbath, I hope that an alternate time be established (and publicized) for Jewish students (and their families) who are strict in observing the Jewish sabbath.
