World-Renowned Paleo-Artist and Anthropologist John Gurche to Speak on February 15th for World Anthropology Day!Contributed by Paige Twining on 02/12/18 Paleo-artist John Gurche re-constructs prehistoric life forms, including early homins, with incredible detail and accuracy.
Come celebrate World Anthropology Day with the Student Anthropological Society and the Ithaca College Anthropology Department by welcoming guest presenter John Gurche! Gurche combines knowledge of anatomy, paleontology, anthropology, and artistic techniques to re-construct the faces of early hominins. His work has been praised in National Geographic, Discover, and Natural History Magazines, and is displayed in museums including the Smithsonian and the American Museum of Natural History. Don't miss this incredible event!
