Katharyn Howd Machan, Writing, has published two new full-length collections of poems: Secret Music: Voices from Redwing, 1888 from Cayuga Lake Books and Katharyn Howd Machan: Selected Poems from FutureCycle Press.
On Saturday, March 3, at 4 p.m. in Buffalo Street Books, more than a dozen readers of varied ages, most Writing professors and Ithaca College students, will offer monologues selected from Secret Music. Listeners will travel back to the fictional 19th century town in Tuscarora County as characters share with them the hidden thoughts they would never dare speak aloud. All are welcome! Appropriate refreshments will be served.
