Important update regarding Amazon Business in IC MarketplaceContributed by Irene Scott on 02/21/18 We are pleased to announce that Ithaca College has entered into a new contract with US Communities, a national cooperative purchasing program, to participate in their Amazon Business contract which includes use of Business Prime 2-day Shipping on eligible orders through December 31, 2018. The new Amazon contract will go into effect on Thursday, February 22nd, and is not retroactive to orders that have already been placed. As we reported a few weeks ago, Amazon Business eliminated Free Two-Day shipping. The absence of a free expedited shipping option caused many departments a great deal of concern, and we have been working to identify a way to reinstate it. During the coming year we will continue work with Amazon to identify a permanent expedited shipping option for the college. We will keep you posted of our progress as the year progresses.
