The presentation is titled, “The Critical Need and Power of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Higher Education Career Services” with the following description: If the challenges our world faces today need diverse, interdisciplinary, and socially just solutions, our higher education and career services (CS) efforts must: a) diligently include, engage, and empower students from all demographics, identities, and paths of life in their career development, as well as b) intentionally capacitate our students, CS leaders/teams, and our communities to engage in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts as a key strategy for our preparation of the new generation of leaders. Join us and explore with us: 1) the relevance of DEI; 2) research on the return on investment of DEI efforts; and 3) DEI models and strategies for our work. |
