The National Student Speech-Language Hearing Association (NSSHLA) has partnered with the United States Society for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (USSAAC) 

 The National Student Speech-Language Hearing Association (NSSHLA) has partnered with the United States Society for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (USSAC) to support children with complex communication needs who are impacted by disaster, most recently Hurricane's Irma and Harvey.  The club met Friday the 23rd and created communication boards for children who are unable to communicate with speech and need an alternative way to express their feelings, thoughts, wants and needs. The club will be sending the communication boards to USSAAC to support children and their families.
