This past week numerous physical therapy faculty, current students and alumni presented their research at the annual Combined Sections Meeting of the American Physical Therapy Association in New Orleans. 

Research topics included:

•          The Effects of an 8-Week Interdisciplinary Exercise Program on Cancer Survivors: A Case Series

•          Are Older Adults with Balance Deficits Particularly Challenged by the Cognitive Timed Up-and-Go?

•          Interprofessional Education through a Monthly Stroke Support Group

•          A Roadmap Towards QI_ Using Best Evidence to Improve Clinical Outcomes

•         Cancer survivors present with diverse physical impairments: Description and implications for oncology rehabilitation

•          Effects of a 12-week yoga intervention on collegiate baseball players
