Submitted on Behalf of Carole Dennis and Warren Calderone, Co-chairs, Research Council

Last October, various faculty presented their research or scholarly work at the Faculty Scholarship, Research and Creative Inquiry Fair in the Klingenstein Lounge.  The presentations were in “lightning round” and poster format.

The event was very well attended and quite successful.  We would like to repeat it with new presenters on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM in the Handwerker Gallery. We strongly encourage faculty and staff members from all schools to participate and share with their colleagues the exciting research and scholarly work they are doing.

The fair will again consist of two sessions of five-minute, “lightning round” talks with a half hour poster session in between.    In addition, at the end of the fair there will be a faculty reading from a member of the Writing Department.  Wine and cheese and other refreshments will also be available so please come fill your stomachs as well as your minds.

If you would like to participate, please complete the presenter registration form at the link below by March 16, 2018.  Keep in mind that space is limited – we can only accommodate a maximum of 10 lightning round presenters and 5 posters, and we would like to have at least one participant from each school, so please get your registration in early.

The tentative agenda will be:

4:00 to 4:30                                         Reception, wine and cheese

            4:30 to 5:00                                         Lightning round #1

5:00 to 5:30                                         Posters, wine and cheese

            5:30 to 6:00                                         Lightning round #2
