On behalf of the Protestant Community Over the past few months, we have been made aware of some deep and serious hurt experienced by students from underrepresented populations,most notably the LGBTQ+ community, who have not always felt welcome in the Protestant Community. On behalf of our community, we are deeply sorry this has happened. We do not support any form of silencing, marginalization, or exclusion inasmuch as they are inherently contradictory to the very person and work of Christ as well as what we should be about in his name. Please hear this loud and clear: ALL are welcome here as it is first and foremost God's welcome we extend and only secondarily ours. The Protestant Community remains committed to fostering a truly diverse and inclusive atmosphere and the hard work that entails.
