Celebrate Careers in Aging Week (CIAW) April 1 to 7, 2018Contributed by Elizabeth Bergman on 03/29/18 People are living longer and populations are aging worldwide. The demand for professionals with expertise in aging is growing rapidly.
Careers in Aging Week (CIAW) is observed annually during the first full week of April by businesses, clinics, coalitions, organizations, universities, colleges, and other parties across the world. The goal of CIAW is to bring greater awareness and visibility to the wide-ranging career opportunities in the field of aging. The Gerontological Emerging Scholar and Professional Organization offers a free Professional Development Webinar, “Non-Academic Careers in Aging”, to take place on Friday, April 6, at 12:00 noon.
