Cornell Filmmaker and Fulbright Alum Karen Rodriguez will present a work-in-progress screening of her short cine-poem "Der Abschied/The Farewell" during a happy hour sponsored by the CNY Fulbright Chapter THIS Thursday, April 5 at Casita de Polaris.

Please join us for a unique opportunity to enjoy some "down time" with friends and hear about one recent Fulbrighter's incredible work. 

The film is an adaptation of a poem by Austrian writer Arthur Schnitzler and was shot in Vienna, Austria last year while Karen was on a Fulbright-sponsored artist residency at the MuseumsQuartier. Karen will give a brief talk about the project and the unique grant available only in Austria. (The short presentation will begin at 6pm)   When: Thursday, April 5 from 5:30-7:30 pm
