Good Manners and Bad Behavior

Contributed by Greg Bostwick on 03/29/18

Gossip. Intrigue. Infidelity.  Ripped from today's headlines?  Hardly.  Get a look at how these topics were portrayed on the British stage during the Restoration and Georgian Periods.

Students in the Styles of Acting course will present scenes from The Country Wife (1675), The Way of the World (1700) and School for Scandal (1777) on Monday April 2 at 12:15 p.m. in Studio 4 on the ground level of Dillingham Center.  The presentation is free and will last for about an hour.
