I am pleased to  announce our annual HPPE/FLEFF speaker, Sheila P. Vakharia, MSW, PhD, Assistant Prof, Dept of Social Work at Long Island University currently on leave serving as the Policy Manager in the Office of Academic Engagement for the Drug Policy Alliance.  She's a native of upstate NY who works and researches extensively on drug policy, opioids,  and harm reduction.
