It's that time of the year! TRUSS CUTTING AND BUILDS ARE HERE!
This Saturday and Sunday is the commencement of Truss Cutting at Cornell. Volunteers will have the opportunity to stay from 9 AM -12:30 PM, or 12:30 PM - 4 PM, or they are welcome to stay the whole time. We will be providing transportation to and from the event. Pickups and drop off will be at Textor Circle.
For those who are unaware of what Truss Cutting and building are, it is an opportunity to create the supports for the roofs that will be used in future homes of the men of Second Wind Cottages. Second Wind Cottages is an organization that seeks to walk people towards restored lives by providing them with affordable housing.
