The Office of Human Resources invites you to attend the IC My Future Retirement Planning Event on Wednesday, May 2, 2018. The event will be held from 10am to 2:15pm in Emerson Suites with three sets of concurrent educational seminars available for you to choose from. Feel free to attend just one of the seminars, or three! Please go to https://www.ithaca.edu/hr/benefits/retirement/icmyfuture to register!

The Mid-Stage Planning Sessions include:

  • Halfway There: A Retirement Check-Up
Give your retirement savings a checkup. TIAA’s workshop leader will provide information to help you determine where you need to be in your retirement savings and how to get back on track if you’re behind.

  • Money at Work: Foundations of Investing
It doesn’t matter how old you are, where you are in your career or how much you make. Reaching retirement goals requires the same things: spend less, save more. It’s really that simple. You’ll discover what stocks, annuities, mutual funds and IRAs are so you can determine which ones best fit your needs. Learn about risk and finding your risk tolerance and see how the same savings principles work for short- or long-term goals.

  • IC Retirement Policy and Procedures Explained
Get answers to your questions related to retiring from Ithaca College. Much of your success in retirement will depend on how skillfully you plan for it. This workshop is a good place to start! During this session, you will be provided with information to help better prepare you to navigate the retirement process.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Katie Sack at ksack@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-1208. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
