Dr. Hassoun is the author of Globalization and Global Justice: Shrinking Distance, Expanding Obligations (Cambridge University Press, 2012) and Global Health Impact: Extending Access on Essential Medicines for the Poor (Oxford University Press, forthcoming). The author of over 70 articles in professional journals, Dr. Hassoun is also the head of the Global Health Impact Project, which aims to extend access to medicines to the global poor.
