Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 7:30pm in 104 Park Center (Business School):   Dr. Nicole Hassoun, associate professor of philosophy at Binghamton University, will give a talk on how the human right to health can inspire creative progress on the goal of increasing health care access for the global poor.  The talk is free and open to the public.

 

 

Dr. Hassoun is the author of Globalization and Global Justice: Shrinking Distance, Expanding Obligations (Cambridge University Press, 2012) and Global Health Impact: Extending Access on Essential Medicines for the Poor (Oxford University Press, forthcoming).

The author of over 70 articles in professional journals, Dr. Hassoun is also the head of the Global Health Impact Project, which aims to extend access to medicines to the global poor.
