CONGRATS to the Winners of the Golden Egg Award - Lucas Dixon

and the Silver Egg Award - Katie McGeorge

in the inaugural Ithaca College Theatre Arts New Play Incubator!!!

Lucas Dixon is a BA in Theatre Studies senior, while Katie McGeorge is a Theatre Production and Design alumna.

Our Special Guest Judge playwright/screenwriter Kenneth Lin (House of Cards) selected the winners and gave a beautiful speech about the importance of artists in society and the major role of new plays and playwrights in the contemporary theatre.

The 7 memorable finalist plays were presented in powerful staged readings, directed, acted and staged managed by Theatre Arts students, in front of a wonderful audience in the Hoerner Theatre, Dillingham Center.

The Golden Egg and Silver Egg Trophies were created by Theatre Arts TPD students - designers Brock Viering and Michael Hayes.
