VoiceThread: Beginning to Engage Sessions for Faculty Starting April 26Contributed by Marilyn Dispensa on 04/19/18 The Center for Faculty Excellence (CFE) and the Teaching and Learning Technology (TLT) group collaborated to offer a hands-on experience, VoiceThread: Beginning to Engage, for Ithaca College (IC) faculty. VoiceThread is an asynchronous online tool that allows you and your students to engage with a variety of media and integrates with Sakai. The use of VoiceThread is free with an IC login. Many faculty on campus are already using it as part of their course design with promising results. Please join us as you plan for increasing student engagement in your upcoming courses. We are offering one more session this semester.
What will you do? Over an eight-day period, you will complete three online learning modules asynchronously within Sakai, using VoiceThread. How much time will it take? What will you learn? Module 1: Exploring Possibilities Module 2: Creating Community Module 3: Managing Your Course Please direct any questions to: Marilyn Dispensa (IT), Matthew Herbert (IT), Ilknur Gonul (IT), Judith Ross-Bernstein (CFE)
Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Ilknur Gonul at igonul@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-7796. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible. |
