Kimberly Wilkinson, assistant professor in the department of occupational therapy, was invited to present her paper entitled “The use of loose parts play with children with special needs” at the Therapeutic Aspects of Play Conference.

This event was sponsored by the Child Development Institute at Sarah Lawrence College. The paper was inspired by the work Dr. Wilkinson has done in creating a therapeutic play group for children with special needs as part of the lab for OTMS 65000: Applied Pediatric Neuroscience.
