Professor Barney Beins (Psychology) has been named Chair of the Committee of Examiners for the GRE Subject Test in Psychology for a two-year term.

Responsibilities as chair of the committee include writing and reviewing test items, evaluating GRE publications, and overseeing the development of new editions of the test. Educational Testing Service (ETS) is responsible for development of the Psychology GRE test, which is used by numerous psychology graduate programs in universities in the United States and internationally in the English-speaking world as part of the student application process.
