Professor Margaret Shackell-Dowell paper recognized with a Lybrand Award by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).

Congratulations to Professor Margaret Shackell-Dowell for her paper, “Do You Want Linkages with That?” that was published in Strategic Finance. The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) selected her paper for a Lybrand Award in the manuscript competition. The paper explores how managers may use forward-looking performance measures to effectively help employees understand cause-and-effect linkages between actions and performance measures and how to motivate employees to take actions accordingly. Professor Shackell-Dowell will be recognized at the 2018 IMA Annual Meeting and Expo in Indianapolis on June 19, 2018.
