All Remaining Windows 7 PC’s will be Upgraded to Windows 10 on Sunday June 3rdContributed by Nick Farthing on 05/30/18 Information Technology will be upgrading all remaining Windows 7 PC’s to Windows 10 on Sunday June 3rd starting at 9:00am. The self-service option to upgrade will remain available to you until the end of business on Thursday May 31. If you are in possession of a Windows 7 laptop that is not on campus, please bring your laptop to campus and leave it in your office so it can upgraded by Information Technology on Sunday June 3rd. After Sunday June 3rd, all remaining Windows 7 PC’s not upgraded to Windows 10 will be scheduled to be removed from the Ithaca College network on Friday June 15th. Once removed from the Ithaca College network, your PC will be unable to access any institutional data, assets, or services including email. If you receive a Service Request notification that your PC is scheduled to be removed from the Ithaca College network, you have two options: 1. Respond to the Service Request with a date, time and location when an Endpoint Systems technician can come to your office and upgrade your PC. On Friday June 15th, all remaining Windows 7 PC’s not upgraded to Windows 10 will be removed from the Ithaca College network and will be unable to access any institutional data, assets, or services including email.
