Looking for resources to suggest to students for their health and wellness?Contributed by Kristen Lind on 08/07/18 At the Center for Health Promotion, we offer students a variety of free or greatly reduced programs and resources for their health and wellness needs. Check out our website for more information regarding each program listed below: - Free safer sex supplies. - Free light therapy units to use. - Free print resources regarding several health and wellness topics. - Free 1-on-1 wellness coaching through our THRIVE at IC program or our BASICS program (Balancing Alcohol and Substance Use to Increase College Success) ** Both programs are free, confidential and nonjudgmental.** - Be Tick Free at IC tick removal kits to prevent tick borne illnesses - Monthly Student Chair Massage Days (reduced rate) - Free Sleep Kits and a personalized feedback program regarding sleep patterns - Free Nicotine Cessation Kits - Free Student Health 101 online magazine
**The Center for Health Promotion also offers group THRIVE at IC resiliency building workshops. We work with you to present a program to your student groups that teaches the importance of building resiliency during college and how to do that here at IC.** Email us at healthpromotion@ithaca.edu for more information about our programs or to set up a workshop for your student group.
