Associate Professor Cory Brown recently attended The 22nd International Symposium on Translation and Interpreting Teaching​, at Fu Jen Catholic University, in Taipei, and was hosted in Taipei and in Kaohsiung by distinguished Taiwanese poets Ruey-shan Chen and Yu Hsien. 

Professor Brown recently edited a book of Yu Hsien's poems that were translated by Ruey-shan. Professor Brown and Ruey-shan were graduate students together at the University of Oklahoma in the early 1980s.
