Dear Members of the Campus Community,

We’d like to provide an update on the search for Vice President and General Counsel.

On Monday, June 11, and Tuesday, June 12, members of the search committee conducted interviews with eight candidates for this position. Following the interviews and after thoughtful, collaborative discussion, the pool of eight was narrowed down to three finalists, each of whom will be visiting campus this month.

When on campus, the finalists will meet with IC’s senior leadership team and deans, the executive boards of the faculty, staff, and student councils, staff delegates, and faculty delegates. Each candidate will also speak with members of the board of trustees. Feedback from these sessions will be shared with the search committee members and with President Collado.

We anticipate that President Collado will make an offer to the selected candidate by the end of the month.
