As a part of our commitment to continued process improvements in Human Resources, we are excited to announce the completion of the integration between PeopleAdmin and Parnassus!  Our HR team has been working very hard, in collaboration with IT and PeopleAdmin, to finalize this important update to our IC employee on-boarding processes.

This new integration will eliminate the need for Manager Self-Service transactions in Parnassus for new hires, re-hires or transfers hired through a search process in PeopleAdmin.  Approvals will be obtained through the PeopleAdmin Hiring Proposal and no separate data entry or approvals will be needed through Parnassus.  

We anticipate this process update will be fully implemented within the next couple of weeks and thank you in advance as we work to improve your on-boarding experience as hiring managers.  New hire sessions will continue to be held every other Monday, to coincide with the start of each bi-weekly pay period (the schedule can be found here https://www.ithaca.edu/human-resources/payroll).  In addition, we anticipate a change to the first day new hire session later this summer.  More information will be communicated as we get closer to the full implementation of our new process.  

PLEASE NOTE :  Waivers to Post will continue to be a paper process until we can implement the Waiver to Post process in PeopleAdmin.  Manager Self-Service transactions will need to be submitted for anyone hired via Waiver to Post.
