Discontinuation of College Wide Internal Phone Chargebacks
As of June 1st, Financial Services discontinued the processing of telephone charges to departments for their use of the College owned telephone system.
The time, effort, and expense of completing the monthly chargeback process did not yield significant results. Data tells us that there was only one department on Campus running the detailed telephone report during the past fiscal year.
Due to this change, the Budget Department has removed the departmental budgets associated with the phone chargebacks that were included in the FY19 budget.
All expenses related to the phone system have and will continue to be paid centrally by Information Technology (IT).
