Dear Campus Community,

As promised, I want to continue to keep you all informed as it pertains to the external review and leadership changes within Counseling, Health and Wellness. The firm we will be working with is Keeling & Associates. They are the gold standard around this work and come highly recommended. I am confident that they will be a great resource for us and look forward to getting this process started.

Here are a few things regarding the review:

  • The review team will be joining us on Monday, July 30th and Tuesday, July 31st. During this time, they will meet with various key stakeholders, tour the facilities and provide space for an open forum for anyone to join. We will be sharing more details of their visit within the next week or so.
  • The attached brief includes an overview of the review process. You will also see that it includes the contact information for the project director. Please feel free to contact her directly if you have any questions or feedback you would like to provide.

Regarding interim leadership:

First, I would like to thank all of the staff in Counseling, Health and Wellness for their patience and flexibility around all of the changes. It has been great to have individuals step up and offer their time to ensure we have a smooth transition.

  • As of June 1st, Sasha Lerner and Alice Meilman have been serving as interim co-directors of CAPS and will remain in that role through December 31st.
  • Prior Dr. Vivian Lorenzo's departure on August 23rd, Dr. Ellyn Sellers-Selin will assume the role of interim director of the health center starting August 20th through January 2019.

Rosanna Ferro, Ed.D.
Vice President for Student Affairs & Campus Life
