(The following message is being posted on behalf of Dr. Timothy Carey, Associate Vice President, Facilities)

Colleagues:
In late May, I shared the list of projects and initiatives that the Facilities Department was planning to execute during the summer months.  I am now pleased to provide a pictorial update on many of the more significant initiatives.  As noted in my first message, Facilities strives to provide first-rate service while simultaneously executing projects during the compacted summer constructions season so that the academic year instructional program is not adversely impacted by noise, dust and other inconveniences associated with these kinds of efforts.  For those of you who are on campus during all or portions of the summer months, I sincerely thank you for your patience as we work to improve your campus.

Please see this link for a pictorial representation of many of our “in-progress” construction initiatives to this point of the summer. I will share a final update at the conclusion of the summer construction season.

On behalf of the nearly 200 dedicated IC Facilities employees, and with all best wishes for an enjoyable and productive summer,

Dr. Timothy Carey
Associate Vice President, Facilities
