I am both excited and sad to share news of the departure of our colleague Steve Jenks from Ithaca College. Steve will be pursuing a Doctorate in Philosophy in the higher education program at the University of Denver.  Please join us to celebrate 2-3 pm, Tuesday, July 24th on the Peggy Ryan Williams Center patio.

Steve joined the Admission team in September of 2015. Since that time, it has been awesome to witness his passion for student success and share energy. Steve has created an office multicultural resource library; served on the Camp College faculty engaging with students who are first in their families to pursue college; coordinated our An Inside Look and campus ACE programming; provided support for the HEOP search and selection process; presented at our national and regional conferences; coordinated the Leadership Scholar Program search and selection process, and more.

Steve is excited to pursue his love of research, college access, and college success at the next level of his education. Upon reflecting on this next chapter Steve shared, "Working at Ithaca College is a great experience that allowed me to grow and explore areas that are important to me and that have ultimately shaped my research agenda in my doctorate program and my future work in the field."

Selfishly, I am sad because Steve contributes so much to our community and at the same time I am overjoyed that he has seized the opportunity to pursue his passion. Thank you, Steve, for sharing this space, your energy, and your talents with us!
