Rada, Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Journalism, was in Washington DC to present at the Annual Conference of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC). Rada presented on a panel titled, "Teaching Race and Diversity in the Trump Era of Race, Rage and Resentment: Challenges and Pedagogical Opportunities." The panel was sponsored the AEJMC's Commission on the Status of Minorities. Rada's presentation included examples and experiences from his class "Media Literacy: Race, Gender, and Ethnicity." |
