Beware of emails that say “Cannot display this email”Contributed by Karen Compton on 08/21/18 A number of Ithaca College email users report receiving an email, often that looks like a reply to a message sent by them, that when opened contains some variation of a message that says “Cannot display this email” with a link to “click here to open this message”. These are phishing messages designed to steal your credentials, and should be deleted. If you received one of these messages and clicked on the link and then entered your username and password, you should immediately change your password, and contact the Service Desk via email. Enabling DUO Multifactor Authentication for your email account is the most effective method of preventing compromised accounts, and we encourage you to enroll for Duo as soon as possible if you have not already done so.
