The Office of Case Management is offering an hour long training to faculty and staff titled: Assisting Students in Distress, ICare: Behavioral Intervention at Ithaca College”. 

The training will include information on how to:

  1. Identify a student in distress
  2. Respond to a student in distress
  3. Utilize the ICare referral in addition to other campus resources to access a student help and support. 

At this training, a new resource folder titled the "Faculty/Staff Reference for Responding to Students in Distress" will be distributed and reviewed.  

Faculty and staff are invited to attend one of our 1-hour open training sessions scheduled on September 17th at 11:00 am OR October 4th at 11:00 am.  Both training sessions will be held in the Taughannock Falls Room.  If you plan to attend one of these sessions, please email Chris Wlosinski at cwlosinski@ithaca.edu to confirm your attendance.  Any faculty and staff are welcomed to attend.
