Tickets for Friday night's “Stand-Up & Vote” comedy show can be purchased online at iceventstickets.universitytickets.com. Tickets for Ithaca College students, faculty and staff are $15. Tickets for the general public are $25.

Comedian Mike Birbiglia will bring his “Stand-Up & Vote” tour to Ithaca College’s Athletics & Events Center on Friday, September 7. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Special guest performers for the show include Emmy Blotnick, Nick Griffin, Jo Firestone and Seaton Smith.

About the "Stand-Up & Vote" tour:
This fall comedian Mike Birbiglia hosts an alternating all-star comedy lineup across American college campuses for an evening of stand-up comedy and voter registration. Birbiglia says, “If I could go back in time I would have started voting when I was younger. To help encourage students to vote I'm planning shows at colleges. These are the exact lineups I would want to see at a comedy show so I just booked the shows myself.” All net proceeds from the shows go to HeadCount, Rock The Vote, and Vote.org, three non-profit, nonpartisan organizations that register voters and encourage voter turnout.
